Hey. Did you put these lyrics on your blog just for me? It's interesting how you wrote them a few days ago, and I am reading them today - on the day that I am struggling with hope. If I had read these lyrics a few days ago, they wouldn't have meant much to me.
I've been having a pity party today and planned to just go to bed early and sleep it off. But, somehow God got me to read blogs and even post tonight. It ended up being a great night of growth and healing. Thanks for your contribution.
One of my FAVORITE songs! Amy and I want to do this in church some day (if they are ready? :) God has already freed me from so much - and is willing to do more. The challenge is, am I willing to let Him peel my fingers away and let go?
By the way, the new bike is here and it's everything and MORE than I had hoped. It's like giving Maxine (the greeting card lady) a Mazarati :) I have prayed, and will continue to pray, that God lets the bike, and my love of Him and biking, to touch people's lives for Him.
By the way, our women's bike weekend will be September 20-21. 64 miles in 2 days on a rails to trails bike trail, with some awesome pizza and an overnight. Feel free to block out the weekend and join us if you can.
