Please Join in Prayer with Me

Will you please join with me to pray for this family?

This is Lori's request for her family:

Family with 5 small children faces possibility of losing our home. Husbands construction business is failing. Please pray:
-our children maintain a feeling of safety and security
-our marriage
-husband finds favor with those needing work
-husband embraces role of spiritual and financial leader
-that we maintain an attitude of thankfulness despite the outcome
-financial miracle as God sees fit
I hope you can continue to pray for us for the next 30 days, even though I’m sure there are many other people to pray for!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by
prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to the Lord. Then the peace that passes understanding with keep and guard your hearts and minds in
Christ Jesus.- Philippians 4:6-7

Hi Tracy,

Welcome to the STMM team!! I am only a week or so "older" than you in STMM but I am so excited to be part of this fee-free ministry. The Lord has captured my heart and my passion is teaching His Word. I believe He has great things in store!! I am thrilled to be serving with you, Leigh and Ginger.

Hope to meet you soon.

Leah

Thank you for sharing this prayer request. It is my priveledge to pray for this family.

I am doing the Beth Moore study on Psalms of Ascent an yesterdays reading came to mind as I was praying for this family:

Psalm 124
A song of ascents. Of David.
1 If the LORD had not been on our side—
let Israel say-
2 if the LORD had not been on our side
when men attacked us,

3 when their anger flared against us,
they would have swallowed us alive;

4 the flood would have engulfed us,
the torrent would have swept over us,

5 the raging waters
would have swept us away.

6 Praise be to the LORD,
who has not let us be torn by their teeth.

7 We have escaped like a bird
out of the fowler's snare;
the snare has been broken,
and we have escaped.

8 Our help is in the name of the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

The Lord picks us up out of the raging torrent and saves us from even worse circumstances. We just have to believe Him to be our Helper!

Hi - this is Lori. Thank you, Sarah and all that are praying. We have started a prayer journal and are printing off your encouraging words and prayers to remind us that others are standing in agreement with us when we pray. God is working in our lives, opening doors of opportunity for work - nothing certain yet but praise God for possibilities...and we are drawing closer to God as a family - your prayers and uplifting words mean so much!

I prayed for Lori's requests and especially that her marriage wouldn't be strained during this difficult time. I'm so glad that us Christian sisters can support each other in prayer.
