The Emblem of the Helping Hand award created by Sojourner's Place as a symbol of help, support, and encouragement to up, and coming bloggers and appreciation, for those who mentor those new to the blogosphere.

Thank you dear Laurie Ann for passing this awad on to me. I am so blessed by Laurie's wisdom and love for the Lord. I am so glad to call her friend! You are a shining light for Christ, Laurie Ann!

I encourage everyone to visit Laurie Ann's blog. Her love for Jesus, compassion, and Godly wisdom shines through each post. I am so encouraged by Laurie's comments. She faithfully shares her insight and is so sweet. I am not so good about commenting back, so I really appreciate her CONTINUED support and encouragement. Laurie Ann truly shares her helping hand of encouragement and inspiration.

Here are the rules:

Select 10 bloggers: 5 you consider your blogging Helping Hand, then "Pay it Forward" by extending your "Helping Hand" to 5 additional bloggers, in support and encouragement for their efforts.

In passing on the Emblem, each recipient must provide the name of blog, or blog author with a link for others to visit. Each recipient must show the Emblem, and put the name and link to the blog that has given it to her or him. Link the Emblem to this post: Helping Hand: Much Obliged and Paying it Forward so that others will know it origin and impetus.

If you have not already done so, show your recipients some love by adding them to your blog roll, Technorati Favorite list, or in any other way to further let them know that their blog voice is important to you and being heard.

Add your name to The Helping Hand meme at my new blog entitled The Emblem of the Helping Hand and don't forget to leave a comment as a permanent record of all Helping Hand recipients.

I would like to pass on this award to some special ladies who have given me a special helping hand!

My dear friend Leigh who first introduced me to blogging Oct. 2007. I had NO idea what a "blog" was. She encouraged me to starting sharing my walk with Jesus in the blog world. Leigh is such a wonderful friend. I love her blog because she openly and honestly shares her heart.

I also want to thank my dear friend and mentor, Lori. Oh, how I can relate to Lori- we are "kindred spirits!" Lori is Proverbs 31 woman who shares such Godly insight and wisdom. Lori is caring and kind and truly loves the Body of Christ. She has a heart for the weary and a desire to encourage. Lori has also helped me with many "tech" computer questions. She is willing to help and takes the TIME to do so.

Another friend who not only encourages me with my walk with Jesus, but also takes time to HELP with blog questions is Amy Bayliss. I love her blog because she seeks out the unbelievers as well as Christians. She told me once that she blogs about secular topics (like American Idol) to draw women to her blog that might not otherwise come. What great wisdom! This dear Sister also cares about helping women in their blogs so much that she offers free tutorials.

Two other women I am also encouraged by are Kathryn and Gina. Wow! When I read these women's blogs, I was so inspired by their hearts for the Lord! They are both passionate, "real", honest and authentic and striving to live holy lives. They speak to my heart by living out romans 12:1-2. I love you both dearly! Please visit Kathryn's blog, Pure Wells and Gina's blog, Chats with an Old Lady!

Now for the bloggy sisters I would love to encourage:
Chelle! Oh, dear one! How I have seen you growing in wisdom and discernment as you continue to press in and seek Him. Bless you dear one! Please visit Chelle and share a word of encouragement with her.

I would also love to encourage Edie from Rich Gifts ! Edie does such wonderful work with scripture tags and beautiful artwork. Thank you, Edie for sharing your gifts with bloggyland. Your kindness and love for Jesus shines through all you do.

Finally, I would like to encourage some of my new bloggy friends. These women are all seeking to know Him more. How I pray such blessings on your relationship with the Lord as you continue to press in.

Lorna from I Whisper to God.

Slowly Dying to Self from My Heart Speaks
Penlighted- this sweet young woman is only 20, and has a heart for the Lord! Keep seeking Him, dear one!
