Jesus.....a Child...a Light

For Unto Us a Child is Born

"The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of darkness a LIGHT has dawned....

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,

and the government will be on His shoulders.

And He will be called

Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

.....sent to bind up the brokenhearted,

to proclaim freedom for the captives

and release from darkness for the prisoners...

to comfort all who mourn,

and provide for those who grieve...

to bestow on them a crown of beauty for ashes,

the oil of gladness

instead of mourning,

and a garment of praise

instead of a spirit of despair."

Isaiah 9 and 61

I pray as you continue to prepare for Christmas, you will take a few moments today to ponder Jesus....how amazing the miracle is....what a GIFT He is for mankind...
